What We Store

PETSCII Bedrock stores data exclusively in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is transmitted to any server. No cookies are set. No analytics are collected.

The following keys are written to localStorage:

pb_mode — your chosen display mode (green, white, amber, blue, e-ink).
pb_stamps — which exhibits you have visited and earned stamps for.
pb_visited — which museum rooms you have visited.
pb_passport — your visitor name and rank, if you chose to log in.
pb_lastroom — the last room you visited, used for the resume prompt.
pb_muted — whether you have muted sound effects.
pb_size — your chosen text size.
pb_cookies_ok — whether you have dismissed the localStorage notice.

Passport System

The passport login is a stub interface. Any name and code you enter are stored only in your local browser. No authentication request is made to any external server. Your credentials are never transmitted anywhere.

When real Commodore Universe Passport integration is enabled, this policy will be updated. Until then: everything stays local.

External Services

Google Fonts — This page loads the VT323 font from Google Fonts. Google may log this request. See Google's Privacy Policy.

No other external services, trackers, CDNs, or analytics are used.

Clearing Your Data

All stored data can be cleared by opening your browser's developer tools and running localStorage.clear() in the console, or by clearing site data in your browser settings.
